Machwa Jungle is a woodland region in the metsade region.

Despite the scarcity of the plants around it, the trees that make up the Machwa Jungle grow close together. They have tall boles and thick roots, many of them thick at the base but bifurcating into two narrower trunks. The leaves of the trees are small, but there are a very large amount on each plant. Ferns and tussocks of grass grow around each tree, and a few have rocks piled around their roots. The rest of the ground is covered by short, lush, light green grass.

  • Machwa means sunset in Swahili.
